The Chhattisgarh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (CSERC) on January 07, 2026, issued the Draft Chhattisgarh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Connectivity and Intra-State Open Access) (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2026, further to amend the Chhattisgarh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Connectivity and Intra-State Open Access) Regulations, 2011.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the second proviso shall be added to Clause 5(5) of the Principal Regulations, which was amended by CSERC (Connectivity and Intra-State Open Access) (First Amendment) Regulations, 2012: -
“Provided further that any eligible consumer who is not connected through a dedicated feeder from the grid, intending to procure power (directly or through trading licensees) exclusively from the solar power generating stations within the State, shall be exempted from requirements of dedicated feeders subject to load restriction, if any.”
• Comments/suggestions of the stakeholders/public are invited by February 04, 2026.
